ProMexico Proactive in Helping to Expand Trade and Investment Across the Border
The world is changing fast and so is the way the world is doing business. Mexico is becoming a major contender for commerce and business across the globe and ProMexico is helping steer the currents…
Federal District, Mexico April 28, 2011
The worldwide economy has been in a state of upheaval for the last three years. Since 2009 the outlook has been bleak in all corners of the globe. But January 2011 showed an impressive improvement in business activity throughout Mexico even surpassing expectations.
Not only is exporting becoming more prominent throughout Mexico but there has been a major rise in foreign investment where business owners from around the world are investing time, money, and equipment for production in Mexico. This foreign investment is good for the small communities that are lifted up by it as well as Mexico as a whole. It's also making the role of Mexico in the international economy much more pivotal than it has been in years past.
International commerce has taken a bit of a hit recently but that hasn't been as noticeable within Mexico where it seems to be growing at a steady clip. Companies are beginning to find the cost of doing business in Mexico appealing. More importantly they are finding that the infrastructure for doing business is already in place. This means that many businesses need to do little more than simply show up in order to start turning a profit by doing business in Mexico.
www.ProMexico.gob.mx was created to attract new business investors to Mexico and has done a very good job. With Mexico providing such a central location to major cities around the world it makes sense that more businesses are making the decision to do business with and in Mexico. For instance, Mexico is within ten hours or less of all these major worldwide cities: Madrid, London, Buenos Aires, Sao Palo, New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. It's also within 14 hours of Beijing and 12.5 hours of Tokyo.
Why Mexico for Business?
For many business owners, it's all about the opportunities that doing business in Mexico represents. The climate is appealing, there is a quality workforce available for most lines of manufacturing, and there is an impressive higher education system in place to educate the future workforce for most companies.
With so many benefits for doing business in Mexico, maybe it's time to see what www.promexico.gob.mx is all about.
